Arrogates Hercules FAQ

Arrogates Hercules standing pose
The Owners of Airoforce, Arrogates Hercules and Uncle Vinny believe very strongly that the best thing for the breeder, the stallion owner and the industry is to utilize modern technology when selecting matings. They have chosen two different software packages, both created by the same group of equine genetics experts, software designers and Artificial Intelligence programmers. Pedigrees360 which follows the philosophy of the great Federico Tesio regarding deep linebreeding and G1Goldmine which looks at a more recent lineage, the most recent 4 generations and looks specifically at inbreeding of the hypothetical foal. Through extensive validation studies of well over 5000 reports, these two software packages have proven to be 74% accurate which is the best odds possible in this game. No mare owner wants to have a mare that throws $5,000.00 claimers left and right, neither does a stallion owner, that can happen easily enough on it’s own, we do not want to plan on it.
Unlike most breeders, Lonestar Stallions understands that things can happen the first month of life for a foal. As such, unlike most stallion owners who require the stud fee be paid upon the foal being born alive, standing and nursing, we do not require stud fee payment until the foal is 30 days old.
Equine Partners Veterinary Services where Arrogates Hercules is standing charges 22.00 a day for pasture boarding. The advantage of Equine Partners Veterinary Services is the fact that your mare is under the watchful eye of multiple veterinary personnel and can be immediately treated should a problem arise right where she is standing!
No, not currently and the chances of that happening are very small. There is one other son of Arrogate Standing Stud and that is Arcangelo, the winner of the Belmont Stakes who is standing in Kentucky for a fee of $35,000.00. It is very likely that Seize the Grey and Dragood Guard will join him in Kentuckly for the 2025 season. However, given the limit of only 3 books bred before he passed, his last book is 3 year olds currently, the chance of many more son’s standing at stud is limited at best. Unlike, Tapit, Uncle Mo, Quality Road, Gun Runner and other great Stallions of his quality, sadly there will be no more Arrogates.
